About Us

The Assembly of the Children of God Christian Church

The Assembly of the Children of God Christian Church is made up of every day folk, just like you that have been chosen by God to become an active part of our fellowship. We come together as a congregation to worship and offer Praise to our God, the God of creation, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel on each seventh day Sabbath, and also on each of God’s annual Sabbaths. This has not always been our custom, but as the people of God we are admonished to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord.

Mission

Our mission is to be apart of the fulfillment of Christ’s prophecy as recorded in (Matt. 24:14). We have been commissioned to teach and preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God as a witness in all the world. We have been appointed to baptize those that believe the message of God’s grace and teach them to observe all things Christ has commanded us. (Matthew 28:19-20).

Our Ministries

Family oriented gatherings are a mainstay of our church as they often provide opportunities for growth in many other areas of ministry. We’ve found that in these gatherings, those much needed bridges between the generational divides are formed and nurtured.

Community ministries involve us in nursing home visitations as well as visiting the seniors around the community and extending helping hands. We seek opportunities to serve within the prison system through visitation and committee volunteering.

Our Beliefs

Church Doctrine

  1. We believe that God is the Sir name of the God family… (Eph.3:14-15)..  which at present consist of God the Father and Christ Jesus the Son of God. We believe as is stated in Their Holy Word that Christ Jesus is the first born among many brethren… (Rom. 8:29)… that have been begotten by Them, Father and Son.We believe that by the power of their Holy Spirit this is done.
  2. Spiritual Salvation is our deliverance from the mortal existence of which we have now to the immortal eternal spirit that we will be changed to even as was Christ Jesus… (Matt. 24:31)… (1 Cor. 15:50-55).
  3. We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired written Word of God our Creators… (2 Tim. 3:16).
